Ren’s Ramen for dinner; second time in a week and I’m not complaining!  I found out they import their noodles from Japan, which really makes a difference. This time we ordered the Tonshio style ramen with seasoned egg + stewed pork belly.  Damn, their food is good. Yummmmm :)
On the way home we found an Asian bakery and picked up a few things for dessert.  We tried a nice assortment expecting to only like a few, but ended up enjoying them all.  The little bakery is just a short walk from our house so that’s pretty awesome/terrible for us.  They’re also cheap as shit!  We got 7 pastries and I pulled $25 out thinking it would be more, but it came out to $9.  Dang.
Most importantly, they had Japanese style hot dog bread!!  I haven’t had one of these since I visited Japan in 2006.  The only thing it was missing was Kewpie (Japanese mayo), BUT I actually got some yesterday.  My ESP happened to be on point whilst shopping at the Asian store. I meant to take a picture but forgot to before going ham on that jam.
